Online performance marketing (affiliate/advertising) network Linkshare seems to be growing at a reasonable clip. The company announced that more than 110 new advertisers joined the network in the third quarter of 2010, an increase of 25 percent compared to the same quarter in 2009.

More than 1,000 advertisers are now part of the LinkShare network and sales were up more than 30 percent in the third quarter of 2010 compared to overall e-commerce growth of nine percent.

“LinkShare’s continued growth illustrates a strong vote of confidence among the advertiser and publisher communities,” said Yaz Iida, CEO, LinkShare Corporation. “Our commitment to driving successful and profitable performance marketing programs through a strong balance of business strategy, technology investments and experience building partnerships has enabled advertisers and publishers to reap tremendous revenue gains, brand awareness and competitive differentiation.”

One of the noteworthy recent additions into LinkShare's advertiser roster is GoDaddy. The domain and registration company seems to be network hopping however as its campaigns on Commission Junction has long expired and nary a promotional word has surfaced about the performance of GoDaddy's in-house managed affiliate program - perhaps it's not faring so well, hence the partnership with LinkShare.
