Affiliate Industry Consolidation Begins with GetAds and

Two well-known names in the affiliate marketing space are merging and it may just begin a rush among other networks to do the same.

Performance-based marketing/advertising networks GetAds and announced the merger this week and will soon begin operating under the brand.

Review Website Magazine's Top 50 "Emerging & Established Affiliate Marketing Networks" which was published in early July 2016.

“This is a powerful merger as the technologies of the two companies are industry leading and clearly very complementary. We have irrevocably passed from the Age of Software to the Age of Data, in which organizations need to adopt contemporary architectures to master data ubiquity,” said George Avery Getads’s founder.

Affiliate marketing has long been an effective digital promotion tactic. There are currently several hundred affiliate and performance-based marketing networks but the time has come to thin the proverbial herd and the GetAds and merger will likely be the first of many in the industry in the coming months and year.
