Web.com has added more than 50 new domain extensions available for pre-registration and purchase.
New gTLDs like .menu (good for restaurants, chefs and foodies), .tips (a match for websites offering tips and best practices) and .careers (ideal for networking and recruiting sites) are among the new domain extensions being offered.
“New website address extensions, called generic top-level domains (gTLDs), have started to enter the marketplace at an accelerated rate,” said Bob Wiegand, senior vice president, Domains for Web.com. “We continue to expand our new domain name inventory with the goal of helping small businesses find names that are not only memorable but also resonate with their target audience.”
