dotCEO (.ceo) is a new gTLD (generic top-level domain) that is exclusively for the chief executive officers of the world.
The new domain is already garnering large interest from CEOs who are seeking to secure their own domain name. The new gTLD is owned by PeopleBrowsr, a San Francisco-based company that also owns dotBest (.best) and dotKred (.kred). So far, according to thedomains.com, the new domain has already generated $170,000 in revenue as well as average revenue per user (ARPU) of $180. The new domain currently sits at 80 on ntldstat.com’s list of new gTLDs.
Some of the notable domain names already secured are LarryEllison.ceo (CEO of Oracle), JeanPaulAgon.ceo (CEO of Loreal Paris), DonaldThompson.CEO (CEO of McDonald’s) and BlakeIrving.ceo (CEO of GoDaddy).
