If you're like many Internet professionals, you probably have a few unused domain names just sitting around. If you're looking to sell those, there's a new marketplace to check out.

Freelancer.com recently announced the launch of Freemarket.com, a platform for its 13 million users to buy and sell domain names and websites. Members can list their domains for free and will pay a commission fee of just 5 percent (the lowest in the industry right now).

Freemarket.com was actually spun out of Freelancer's recent acquisition of Warrior Forum which had its own marketplace for buying and selling domains.

"With our recent acquisitions we have been working with our community to develop the products and services that they need to enhance the way they work," said Freelancer's CEO and Chairman Matt Barrie. "Direct feedback showed the majority of our users were dissatisfied with the domain sales websiets available and wanted to leverage the Freelancer and Warrior Forum communities they are already actively engaged in."
