Social Meets Ecommerce in Consumer-Generated Gift Guide

Social media solution provider Brickfish has teamed with luxury retailer Nieman Marcus for its Presents Perfect Challenge, a social media program that asks consumers to create online gift guides from selected collections of Neiman Marcus fashions and accessories. 

"This is a fun way to engage with our customers," said Michael Crotty, SVP Marketing, Neiman Marcus Group Services. "We continue to look at innovative ideas around social media and the ‘Presents Perfect Challenge’ is yet another initiative in our social media strategy."

At the close of Round 1, 40 finalists, five from each Neiman Marcus “gift guide recipient” category, will be selected by Neiman Marcus Gifting Specialists from the top 1,500 highest scoring entries to advance to Round 2 for their chance at winning a $2,500 Neiman Marcus gift card.

“This is our third social media program in 2010 with Neiman Marcus,” said Nichole Goodyear, CEO and Co-Founder of Brickfish. “Whether the social media program is around Prom Season or the holidays, consumers have the ability and are excited to engage with Neiman Marcus and learn more about its extensive retail line.”
