A new handheld mobile point-of-sale (POS) solution from cross-channel commerce provider CrossView delivers the functionality of freestanding POS systems while
allowing sales associates to interact with and serve their customers from
anywhere in the store.

CrossView’s mobile POS is based on the Apple iPod Touch and provides sales associates with tools that can help increase in-store conversions, answer customer inquiries, create positive brand experience, improve visibility across sales channels, as well as expand POS capacity without sacrificing floor space.

“The value is very clear – better service, improved visibility, empowered sales associates, stronger revenue streams,” says Mark Fodor, CEO, CrossView, Inc.

Recently, outdoor adventure apparel and gear retailer Moosejaw has successfully implemented the mobile POS into all of its stores throughout the Midwest, and has chosen to equip new stores with the handheld technology over the next year.

“This is the next logical step in removing barriers between our customers and sales staff,” says Eoin Comerford, senior vice president, Marketing and Technology, Moosejaw. “Creating that close connection with customers online and in stores is a big part of our brand, and the CrossView Mobile POS plays to that strength.”
