Email marketing service provider StreamSend has integrated Google Analytics into StreamSend Share, which is the company's social marketing tool suite.

The integration has shown more than a 20 percent improvement in the view and click rate of emails that are designed to be shared socially. The feature helps deliver accurate ROI-boosting insights as recipients share socially-powered emails.

“With a single click, businesses can now send an email to their mailing list and then beyond, into the social world, where continuous distribution is limited only by the relevancy of the content and how easy it is to share,” says Dan Forootan, president of StreamSend Email Marketing. “By adding the Google Analytics feature to our socially-enabled emails, we can trace every step of that journey, recording every prospect touchpoint and action for future contact and informed business decisions. As the process continues, we expect to surpass the 20 percent viewership boost that our research – based on billions of email messages – has already revealed.”

All links within socially shared email messages are tagged by StreamSend Share, which allows businesses to pull traffic, goal and ecommerce reports from within Google Analytics. Messages can also be shared on Facebook by businesses, in which StreamSend also tags the links for tracking.
