Email service provider GraphicMail recently announced an integration with CRM software provider SalesForce and ecommerce platform OpenCart.

GraphicMail is following a trend among those in the email marketing space of integrating with other platforms to help get their clients the most of their email and mobile marketing efforts.

The new GraphicMail plug-in with Salesforce provides integration between the two systems, allowing the email application and the cloud-based CRM to interact (one-way contact list synchronization) and create contact forms that send information from GraphicMail directly to users’ Salesforce accounts. After each email send, GraphicMail will also send data including information on open-rates, click-through rates, bounce-rates and unsubscribe data back to Salesforce.

GraphicMail's OpenCart plug-in allows customers to sign up for email newsletter campaigns during the online shopping process which can then be used as a segmentation tool to send targeted messages by grouping subscribers that share characteristics; such as product preferences and purchase history.

It's been a busy year for the Graphicmail team who released an iPhone app, plugins for the big three open source CMS and blogging platforms in Wordpress, Joomla and Drupal, and supports synchronization with Outlook.
