FeedBurner and Return Path Partner For RSS Advertising

Return Path, Inc. will now be offering RSS advertising through a relationship with FeedBurner, a leading RSS feed management service hosting over 100,000 combined RSS and Atom feeds for 70,000 content publishers and podcasters. "As the user base for RSS expands, advertising to that base will become an important part of any integrated marketing plan," said Brent Hill, vice president of business development for FeedBurner. Information regarding cost associated with the RSS ad delivery was available at neither ReturnPath.com or FeedBurner.com.  Questions also abound regarding whether the RSS ad pricing model will be CPM or CPC based and what steps the two organizations have taken to prevent impression spam or click fraud.
