Steep Keywod Price Increases?
According to an article in AdAge, Fathom Online's monthly keyword price iindex revealed that prices in the consumer services industry (education, fitness and entertainment) increased a whopping 78% in the past twelve months. According to the AdAge article, Grett Stewart of Fathom cited one possible reason for the increased demand for search is that brand marketers have flcoked online to use search for branding campaigns. Stewart added that "the best advertisers are moving toward conversion optimization or creating a a page where the consumer lands that features the exact product or service mentioned in the search ad copy.
