If you're not completely sold on the idea of RSS or don't have the time to
read hundreds of blogs each day just to stay on top of developments of note
within your business industry, give
Keberfegg a try. The new tool from ResearchBuzz.org allows users to
aggregate and subscribe to RSS feeds on a keyword basis, not on a blog basis.
For example, just enter a keyword that you want to monitor (say for example your
company name, a brand or product) and associate the results with a predefined
category. Monitoring keyword based feeds could save you a lot of time
researching. The predefined categories include:
- Multimedia Engines - e.g. Del.icio.us audio or video search
- News and News Search Engines - e.g. Google or Yahoo News
- Press Release Wires - e.g. PRWeb and PR Newswire
- Scientific and Medical - e.g. HubMed
- Tags and Site Submissions - e.g. Technorati)
- Technology - e.g. PHPDeveloper.org
- Web search engines - e.g. MSN Web Search
- Weblog search engines - e.g. Findory or BlogDigger
