One problem I hear from designers is the difficulty of presenting detailed
images. I came across what looks like an excellent
CSS Image Gallery solution at dynamicdrive.com which might be worth a look.
Displaying a larger version of thumbnail images when a mouse hovers over them
dynamically, it's a purely CSS based image gallery. The code even includes a
rich HTML caption (read: good for SEO) which can be added to the enlarged
image. What I like about it is that the image gallery appears as plain HTML on
the page. It's also possible to modify the behavior so the enlarged images are
only shown onClick. Pretty cool and worth a look at
