Ballhype Inc. today announced the public launch of its social media application for sports fans, combining the power of automated and user-generated content aggregation with the fun of social networking. Think of it as a Digg.com for the sports community. Ballhype tracks more than 1,600 sports blogs to content. Users can "hype up" the best stories, submit new links, and write their own posts.
