Google announced today several improvements to its Google Analytics service,
with the most important changes being:
- Hourly reporting: Google has re-included hourly reporting into
the interface. Now reports have a "View by: Daily/Hourly" switch that allows
users to select how the data is presented. Very valuable if you receive
enough traffic to warrant a that sort of granular view of the Web world.
- Clickable URLs: Users will now be able to click through to
external pages from links referenced in reports. Just click the icon next to
any link listed in the Referring Sites, Top Content, Top Landing Pages, and
Top Exit Pages reports.
- AdWords Integration: It will now be much easier to link your
Google paid advertising account to your Google analytics account.
