This post is for those readers using the Blogger.com weblog solution -
whether through the actual blogger.com site or through the domain redirect
offering.
The first feature of Google's
draft.blogger.com test environment is a feature which adds the ability to
upload video directly from the administration interface. Users must simply click
on a video icon, select a video from the computer and enter a title. The video
will then be uploaded to Google and you'll see a placeholder during the upload
process.
The videos will be hosted on Google video but will be kept private and not
included in Google video search. If all goes well with the testing, I'm
confident you'll probably see a public rollout within six months that includes
much more functionality, possibly the ability to add meta-data descriptions,
tags and send to YouTube or Google Video option as well.
