Website Magazine covered SharedBook, a reverse publishing platform provider, in the "Seven Sizzlin' Site Tools" article of the May issue. What was most appealing to me as the one that penned the piece was that SharedBook was announcing an open API. By all accounts, it looks as though there is some interesting development through that resource now, with the release of Blog2Print.

Blog2Print enables blog owners to compile their favorite posts into a printed book format with a single click and provides the ability to monetize content through the sale of blog books created by their readers. Content owners can sign up to receive a 20 percent share of the retail price of all books made by others of their content. Plus, the first 100 bloggers to add the Blog2Print widget to their Google Blogger sites will be entitled to a complimentary 20-page hard cover book, valued at $24.95. The offer is good through Monday, July 31, 2007.
