Google made a formal announcement yesterday announcing that it now allows websites to add maps by copying and pasting an HTML snippet. These maps, as I mentioned last week, have the same functionality (clickable, draggable, zoomable) as does the original
Google Maps.
To get a Google Map on your site simply go to Google Maps and find the location or the business (you can even use this for specific directions, for example from the airport to your office). Then simply click "link to this page" in the right hand corner of the page, copy the code (either a link for email or IM or the HTML) and paste it. Google us using an iframe which means it should appear correctly on most blogging platforms. Unfortunately, our own blog does not allow for posting iframe code.
Hrmph.
