Goodmail Systems announced
yesterday that two of the industry's top Email service providers (ESPs),
Epsilon and
CheetahMail, have become CertifiedEmail
Premier Providers, which qualifies those ESPs' clients (who meet Goodmail's
accreditation standards) to provide their current and feature clients the
benefits of CertifiedEmail at no additional cost.
CertifiedEmail is a class of trusted email available to senders with the best
email practices and the lowest complaint rates. It improves email effectiveness
by delivering permission-based email messages specially marked with a unique
blue ribbon envelope icon to consumers who have requested them at participating
ISPs (AOL and Yahoo for example).
“Enabling clients to effectively communicate with their
customers is a top priority for CheetahMail so it’s important for us to partner
with complementary businesses that show value to our clients. Since
CertifiedEmails are rendered as designed, with all images and content intact —
this opportunity has the potential to increase the value of their email program,”
said Matthew Seeley, president of Experian Digital (CheetahMail).
So how do you become qualified
to send CertifiedEmail? Goodmail has a set of best practice standards that all
clients must meet in order to become Certified senders. The company must be in
existence for over one year, must also have a low complaint rating amid other
processes such as a scan of the company to guarantee authenticity.
CertifiedEmail could save Email
as we've all come to know and love it.
