It appears that Yahoo will be laying off a few hundred employees. While they may have lost some of their glorious luster in the trenches of its epic battle with Google, it doesn't look like they have given up entirely.

Yesterday many industry folks noticed that Yahoo Search was/is testing the integration of the Del.icio.us bookmarking information (see below for a screen shot) into its algorithmic search results. You may not be able to see any actual indication within results right now as Yahoo is currently rolling out a "Weather Report" (or an update of search listings) which include some changes to crawling and ranking algorithms.
