Intel Launches Business Exchange

Yesterday Intel launched a service called Business Exchange, aimed at small- and medium-sized businesses. The new service offers a way to find software applications that runs on Intel hardware.
Categories include security, storage, telecommunications and business applications. Along with the software information is user-generated feedback and the ability to request a quote from the vendors. Some of the software includes offerings from Microsoft, Salesforce.com, Symantec and Tripwire and it's all intended to compete with IBM's Global Applications Marketplace.
