OneSpot - A TechMeme Clone?

Publishing-as-a-service platform OneSpot has been formally released commercially. The service (Subscription based) allows Web content publishers to deliver (display) relevant content from over 200,000 Web sources alongside their existing content - within sidebars, headline widgets, and within rss feeds for example.

Much like TechMeme, OneSpot's system utilizes an approach which analyzes linking patterns. Using the system, publishers are able to identify trusted sources, review content within an online editor interface (for approval, featuring or blocking), determine how frequently OneSpot sourced content is displayed, and then assign when and how the content will be delivered to users. The content that is delivered to the end-user includes the article's headline, an excerpt and a link to the original story (with full author and souce attribution). Perhaps most interesting is that each published story received its own detail page (which includes a permenanent URL optimized for search engine results). Also, each of these story detail pages contains comments from the original content, and encourages further reader participation via discussion and voting features.
