GoGrid, a provider of Windows and
Linux cloud-based server hosting announced the availability of 32-bit and 64-bit
editions of Windows Server 2008 within its Cloud Computing infrastructure - one
of the first infrastructure as a service providers to offer Windows Server 2008
"in the cloud". GoGrid customers can now deploy Windows Server 2008 servers in
just a few minutes for as little as 19 cents an hour, with no commitment.
"The ability to deploy and manage critical infrastructure systems in the Cloud
is becoming increasingly important to customers," said Jason Hermitage, director
of Windows Server marketing at Microsoft Corp. "We're excited that with Windows
Server 2008 offered on GoGrid, customers will be able to run our most powerful
