Ecommerce Fulfillment

Order or product fulfillment is when a fulfillment warehouse sends a customer the product ordered or requested as opposed to the merchant themselves. In the e-commerce industry, fulfillment refers to the services provided by a company that stores product, receives orders, packages products and finally ships the items to the customer. When e-commerce companies struggle with shipping on their own, they often turn to fulfillment houses to remove some of the burden. How do you know when it's right for your e-commerce enterprise?

Also think about whether your order fulfillment company

-- Integrates with your store (without expensive programming)

-- Handles international distribution

-- Saves you shipping costs

-- Can handle B2C (direct to consumer) and B2B (wholesales and distributor fulfillment)

-- Do you need high volume pick-pack

-- Instant reporting of shipping, tracking and order status

-- Simple web interfaces to tell the warehouse what you want 24/7

Definitely read the "are you Read for E-commerce Fulfillment"  Great info.
