Leading independent (open-source) ad server OpenX announced the launch of its professional services and suppot packages for Web publishers.

Three premium support packages offer a variety of installation, upgrade and training services for publishes that use the OpenX platform.

In May 2008, the company conducted its first extensive community survey and one of the key implications was the clear need of community members for support and services to help them install and develop the OpenX ad server to meet their individual needs.

"Offering professional services and support to our large and growing community is a natural extension of our open source roots and this initiative clearly demonstrates our ongoing commitment to the community," said Tim Cadogan, chief executive officer, OpenX. "Adding world class, enterprise levels of support to our core ad serving product will help our publishers create and grow their businesses."
