TechCrunch has reported that the lastest video market share figures for September from Nielsen Online’s VideoCensus have been leaked. The big news is that Yahoo! had a 56% jump to 264 million videos streamed during the month. While still far behind YouTube, things might just be looking up for Yahoo! - and not just in the realm of video.

AdGooroo's third quarter search market report (which tracks advertiser share by search engine) shows that while Google and Microsoft received a slight uptick in the thrid quarter, Yahoo! managed to drop only 1.2% from August to September - not bad at all considering there were no other significant changse in metrics for Yahoo! other than a 2.5% decrease in active first-page advertisers.
