A web designer once told me that despite how much clients always appreciated
her work, she was never actually satisfied with the design of her own site - a
case of overthinking it, I guess. Fortunately, there are many interesting ways for
Web designers showcase their work. The most common way currently is through the use of design
portfolios.
As you might guess, there are quite a few Web design portfolio
solutions on the market. One that caught my attention this morning was ProFolio.
ProFolio
is built with HTML instead of Flash, so that search engines can add your
portfolio to their indexes. It works in Firefox 2+, Internet Explorer 7+,
or Safari. ProFolio is also easily customized, and extremely simple to install.
