Microsoft officially unveiled a next-generation search service yesterday dubbed Bing at the D7 conference.
Bing (not Kumo as many anticipated for the branding) will be rolled out over the next several days until it is fully available to everyone on June 3, 2009.
The search service aims to be a "decision engine," helping users search the Web more intelligently and to simplify tasks like getting directions. Microsoft said in part, "the tool is aimed at giving people more ways to organize search results to their preferences." Learn more at DecisionEngine.com - http://www.decisionengine.com/Default.html
