Design & Build Sites Clients Can Edit

What is every web designer's worst nightmare? The answer is probably “Internet Explorer 6,” but that desperate 10:30 p.m. phone call asking you to swap out the headshot of the CEO on the “about our company” page you get every few days from old clients is a close runner up. It only narrowly beats out “My nephew broke our website when he tried to update the calendar. Can you please fix it before our TV spot airs in thirty minutes?” And that's only because the latter call usually comes during business hours.

I really enjoyed reading the article.  I'm a full time student that has started a web design business with these free online tools.   I have used a lot of the tools mentioned in the readings but the best one i have found wasn't mentioned.  www.Yola.com has been the best platform I have found for my business.  They recently started a program called the Yola Experts Program where they actually help designers like myself start a successful business.  they have sent me marketing material and training booklets with information on how to get clients and how much I should charge.   The coolest part of all, they gave me all this information for FREE.  Again great article but i just wanted to Share a great CMS company,  Yola.com

I have compared Joomla and Drupal before and was heading towards using Drupal. Website Magazines newsletter emails come into my mailbox and I save them to read when my day (and night) job as a self employed Web Designer allows.  Thank you for pointing out that Word Press fits in the CMS. I will investigate further.  I am also curious if, on a smaller scale, Google Sites compares?
