Viralheat, a social media tracking site that allows marketers to monitor consumer-generated content on video websites, has integrated Facebook to its growing platform. Users can now measure the impact of total shares, likes, comments, updates and more from the world’s largest social network to help identify the latest trends and perform competitive analysis.
Viralheat is a startup website that helps track consumer opinions about a brand or a product by following activity on blogs and social media sites such as YouTube, Hulu, Twitter and Vimeo, much in the way companies like Omniture, Radian6, Omigli, Visible Measures and others do. For $10 per month to track 10 profiles (50 profiles for $40/month), Viralheat is priced lower than the competition.
The company also announced new integrations with Klout and Twitalyzer, both analytics applications that help measure the influence of consumers to the marketers trying to reach them. Viralheat now offers a complete 360-degree view of any user, with a map of their reach across various social media services.
