HootSuite, the Twitter-friendly suite of tools designed to help marketers manage their social media campaigns, has made some upgrades to its dashboard that users will start noticing immediately. With HTML5 becoming the industry's technology standard, the new HootSuite5 takes advantage with a completely refreshed user interface. Other updates include geo-located search, native Twitter retweets and integrated Google Analytics.
The new dashboard has more space for updates and users can choose their own design themes. They can also search for tweets by proximity based on geo-location information using the new HTML5-powered Geo-Searchable feature, and narrow down results to messages sent from their own geographic area. HootSuite has also integrated Twitter’s auto-retweet functionality and Google Analytics. Users no longer have to switch screens to analyze site traffic and performance because sales conversions, lead generation and other metrics are right on the new dashboard.
