Women’s fashion retailer Warehouse is one company whose use of video to enhance its online presence has paid off immediately — at least aesthetically. Warehouse recently adopted the cloud-based video platform from Brightcove to showcase its products online and support its 320 stores across the U.K.
Among the new offerings on the Warehouse website are a fashion portal, a video product catalog and an innovative “shoppable” functionality in which the fashions shown in videos can be purchased on the same screen. Warehouse has also introduced a mobile application using Brightcove’s iPhone software development kit, and the app includes new video content from the site’s fashion portal as well as styling tips.
The influence of video continues to grow in the e-commerce industry and Brightcove’s platform has become a leading choice among businesses worldwide.
