Online network for professionals LinkedIn released data today providing insights that may help veterans find new careers after their military service. 

The top industries include IT, Telecommunications, Financial Services, Law, Computer Software, Government, Higher education, health care, retail, and management consulting. 

“LinkedIn’s analytics team is constantly looking at trends and patterns in our data so we can provide useful insights for professionals,” said DJ Patil, LinkedIn’s Chief Data Scientist. “When we looked at some of the trends around military professionals here in the U.S., we knew this was information that could help veterans figure out what other careers and opportunities are available to them.”
