Subscribers of email service provider MailChimp will be able to publish email campaigns in their entirely on Facebook Pages thanks to integration with ShortStack, a tool for creating custom content and tab designs for Facebook Pages.
The ShortStack application, which is built on the Facebook Platform, integrates with a number of services such as Yelp, Foursquare, YouTube, Vimeo, Twitter, and Google Maps. It also offers widgets for creating polls, displaying products, as well as viewing photo galleries and videos.
“Facebook is such an important platform for MailChimp subscribers,” commented Ben Chestnut, Co-founder and CEO of MailChimp. “We’re really happy to see this integration released.”
Perhaps most interesting in all this however is that ShortStack is a graduate of the MailChimp Integration Fund – a $1 million fund that supports the development of integrations with its platform.
