Hiring Demand for Cloud Computing


If you’re a developer looking for work, you better look to the cloud.

According to Wanted Analytics, it’s to the cloud that the jobs are moving. The business intelligence provider for the talent marketplace is reporting that more than 3,000 new online job ads that required cloud computing skills, representing a whopping 68% Year-over-year increase in demand.

Some other statistics of note include:

- Computer Programmers and IT Specialists are most commonly required to have cloud computing skill sets.

- Computer Software Engineers (Applications) experienced the highest demand, with more than 700 new jobs advertised.

- Computer System Engineers experienced the second highest volume of job postings and Web Developers, despite seeing the third highest ad volume, had the highest year-over-year increase of 150%.
