Constant Contact Integrates with E-commerce Solutions

New e-commerce integrations are now available with ConstantContact, a provider of email marketing, online survey and event marketing tools.

The new e-commerce integrations include CoreCommerce, ShopSite and Cart66 Wordpress e-commerce plugin.

The CoreCommerce integration allows small businesses to segment customers into different email lists, which allows for more targeted marketing. 

 The ShopSite integration enables small businesses to synchronize contacts from ShopSite’s e-commerce software with the user’s Constant Contact account.

The Cart66 Wordpress e-commerce plugin integration allows for customers to opt-in to multiple newsletters, while also automatically updating email contacts with the user’s Constant Contact account.

Through these integrations, small businesses can add new customers from the online checkout or subscriber widgets. Additionally, the customer’s email addresses can be put into specific lists based on the types of products that were purchased, demographics or other designated criteria.

By taking advantage of these integrations, a merchant can capture customer data to help keep their Constant Contact email marketing database up to date, create more targeted email lists, reach a more engaged audience and create a better shopping experience.

This integration technique will allow small businesses more time to focus on their products and their own productivity in the online marketplace. Plus, they will be able to implement “micro-targeting” – instead of every

customer getting the same notifications or newsletters (a method that causes a lot of visitors to unsubscribe from

the sites’ newsfeeds), they will be able to cater to their customers’ preferences and keep clients for the longer term.
