Site search provider SearchSpring has released a new version of its Facebook business page applications dubbed Facebook 2.0.
The app integrates a live shopping catalog with search and navigation capabilities directly into Facebook fan pages, supporting organizations’ increasing interest in using social media to provide an additional outlet for their marketing campaigns.
The app also integrates the display of a like button next to all products in the interface, enabling users to rate and leave comments on product experiences, and features sales and promotional banners. The SearchSpring app also features centralized management, enabling merchants/sellers to review and respond to shopper inquiries, ratings of their store and comment on their product.
The Facebook 2.0 application supports popular e-commerce platforms including NetSuite, 3dCart, Yahoo, Volusion, Miva Merchant and many others.
