Rev Response - a publisher network focusing on the digital B2B community which is part of NetLine - has released a new suite of monetization tools that are worth a look.
It’s new Offer Lightbox will likely be the most appealing to B2B publishers. The tool provides the capability to fire a lightbox with a contextually relevant ’Featured Free Resource’ to appear when readers visit a site. The resources displayed/offered within the Lightbox are from NetLine and thus restricted to content such as eBooks, reports, and PDF’s from advertisers.
RevResponse also realizes the importance of a “minimalistic monetization experience.” The platform’s Slideout Box is triggered when a reader is scrolls halfway down the page – in theory not disturbing their experience (hence minimalistic). Finally, the RevResponse TopBar is another tool that will likely also appeal to publishers. Similar to toolbars at the top or bottom of screens that follow a user as they move up and down the page, the TopBar (which can be minimized and maximized per the readers preference) displays one featured offer each time a visitor comes to a page.
