According to data from URL shortening service Bit.ly, the best time for sharing on the pinboard site is Saturday morning. By studying the click activity, Bit.ly was able to determine that content has a greater reach and is more likely to go viral when it’s pinned at the very beginning of the weekend. Bit.ly also reported in the same study that content on YouTube has a half-life twice as long as Facebook and Twitter, and that about 12 percent of all clicks these days are on mobile devices.
