Google announced via Twitter yesterday that they have pushed out a new Panda algorithm data refresh this week.
The update, which according to Google “noticeably affects only ~1% of queries worldwide”, is the second Panda update this month (the first was around June 8th).
While there is little evidence of merit to suggest that any algorithm updates or signal changes were made this time around, now would be a good time to check your SERP positions to see where you stand.
This data refresh likely supports Google’s “high-quality site” initiative which rewards sites that makes optimal consumer experiences available. In early May, Google provided some meaningful guidance as to what constitutes a high-quality site which is definitely worthy of a look for anyone that takes their search positions seriously.
