Email marketing service SendGrid recently launched a new feature set that should give marketers even greater control over their content.
SendGrid actually launched a content service two years ago but many things have changed in that timeframe and the new features aim to improve collaboration, streamline workflows and get away from the standard campaign wizard format.
The new SendGrid Marketing Campaign service includes engagement and list segmentation, a 'wizardless' campaign workflow, subscriber management, subject line and content testing, campaign analytics and more. Built on SendGrid’s deliverability engine, Marketing Campaigns’ features are also available via API, which should make it quite a bit simpler for enterprise-level senders to set up both marketing and transactional email.
SendGrid has been listed several times within Website Magazine's Top 50 list of email service providers and within the Email Experience channel.
