Social media platform Hootsuite and social media security company ZeroFOX announced an integration/partnership that will enable Hootsuite's 12 million customers to identify, manage and address social media threats and fraudulent activities from within the Hootsuite dashboard.
What kind of threats are we talking about? With ZeroFox for Hootsuite, users can, for example, protect their accounts from brand impersonators, customer scams and malicious links. They can also monitor accounts, hashtags and brand assets, and issue takedown requests for malicious profiles and content.
“The time to address the growing risks of social media is right now. Organizations are growing more reliant on social for customer engagement, sales and revenue growth, and brand enhancement. Considering we have never seen such a dynamic yet dangerous landscape, this strategic investment warrants protection,” said James C. Foster, chief executive officer at ZeroFOX.
