Popular e-commerce solutions provider 3dcart has teamed up with Braintree, a PayPal company, to make it easier for small- and medium-sized retailers to succeed at selling online.
The partnership gives 3dcart’s 17,000 merchants access to an end-to-end payment solution that enables them to accept payments with a single click and without going through the traditional approval process. The integration is a cost-effective option for businesses on a tight budget and provides merchants with a solution for accepting a wide variety of payments. In fact, merchants who use Braintree will be able to accept PayPal and most credit and debit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB and Diner’s Club. Plus, Braintree provides merchants with fraud protection at no additional cost.

It is important to note that Braintree’s accelerated payment process could help merchants increase conversions and reduce cart abandonment. Merchants will also benefit from access to future payment technology from Braintree, which will help their business adapt to the latest trends and customer preferences.
The Braintree integration is just one of a number of new features to roll out with 3dcart version 7.0. Other updates include an iPad compatable point-of-sale (POS) system, a redesigned control panel and dashboard, a new checkout experience, REST API and multi-channel selling. The ner version also features improvements to 3dcart’s core platform and infrastructure for optimized response times and performance.
