Bing's Organic Phase - 'Net Briefs (May 2012)

The user backlash against Google for its Search Plus Your World offering may have opened up new opportunities for search market competitors such as Bing, which has been unveiling some impressive new products of late. Most notably, Bing enhanced its Webmaster Tools offering with new features such as an organic keyword research tool that lets search marketers see query volume data and related phrases across different countries and languages. The tool also leverages raw organic data on up to six months’ worth of queries. Other Webmaster Tools updates include a history option that shows the last 25 queries entered, the ability to pivot data around selected phrases and related keywords, and the opening up of the Bing Webmaster Tools API to developers.
