e-Droid-Cell Pro Spreadsheet
Android
Edit spreadsheets from the palm of your hand with this $2.99 Microsoft Excel-compatible app. E-Droid-Cell Pro offers data computation with support for 124 Excel functions, as well as drop down list support, cell, number and date formatting, filters, charting and more. The app is connected to the cloud, making it even easier to access files on the move. Try it free first by downloading the e-Droid-Cell Trial, which has a limited number of rows and columns and no save option.

Springpad

Spingpad is a free app with which users can create an unlimited amount of notebooks for managing projects, planning events or organizing interests. Springpad enables users to save content to their notebooks while surfing the Web or on the go, as well as keeping notebooks private or inviting colleagues to collaborate within them. The app also features a customizable interface, the ability for users to scan barcodes, take photos, record audio notes, save nearby places and access all saved data, both online and offline.

Skype for Windows Phone

Microsoft has launched the Skype for Windows Phone app, which enables users to join the service’s monthly members to connect with other Skype users for free via instant messages, voice and video calls. Users can also purchase Skype Credits to call and text other contacts, as well as create and hold one-to-one group chats and update their profile and account information from within the app. Skype for Windows Phone is free, available in 18 languages and works on devices running Windows Phone 7.5 or above.

Google Drive

Use the Google Drive app to store files in the cloud, which enables you to access important documents from anywhere and share them with colleagues,
friends and family. Users can upload files including photos and videos to Google Drive directly from their mobile devices, as well as save files, make them available offline, edit Google documents, make changes to spreadsheets, view presentations and even convert a photo of printed text into a Google document. This app can also be used on Android tablets running Honeycomb or higher. Although not yet available, a Google Drive app for iOS users should be coming soon.
