More Spending on Video Ads

You can consider your brand behind the curve if it hasn’t started to incorporate online video advertisements into its 2012 marketing strategy. According to the second annual Video State of the Industry Survey from and Digiday, advertisers that bought online video ads in 2011 are planning to increase their budgets in 2012 by 47 percent. Also, 84 percent of brands that didn’t purchase any online video ads in 2011 plan to start implementing video advertising into their marketing strategies as soon as possible. According to the research, many brands are diverting funds away from some more traditional methods of advertising in order to focus on online video.
