Good news for HTML5 fanboys, the markup language doesn't seem to be going anywhere but up for the time being. According to Wix, the Flash and HTML5 publishing platform, its users have now built more than one million websites using HTML5 since March of this year, when the HTML5 builder was first launched. The platform is currently still in beta. Given the choice between comparable Flash and HTML5 tools, users seem to be overwhelmingly choosing the latter, which speaks volumes about its future longevity. The falls in line with a Kony report from January 2012 which reveals that 74 percent of the 100 Fortune 500 companies it studied were considering implementing HTML5, largely because of an "increasingly fragmented mobile market."
