Profile Dimensions of the Big 3 Social Networks

The most immediately apparent social media design flaw that far too many brands fall prey to is having one (or more) improperly sized images on their social network profiles.

With a medium as visual as social media, it's important to have a nice looking social network profile that will be appealing and interesting to users. But that can be kind of difficult when every social network gives you different image dimensions for the various sections on their profiles. Cover photos, profile pictures, header images and the content that appears on a brand's timeline/wall/whatever they choose to call it are all distinct on each of the Big 3 social networks (Facebook, Twitter and Google+). So to help you out, we've created this helpful infographic that can serve as a cheat sheet of sorts to help you remember the different profile dimensions of each of those social networks.
