Cloud management platform enStratus today announced the expansion of its service to include Windows applications. This makes enStratus the first provider to have application management in the Amazon Cloud across a range of platforms including Windows and Linux.

enStratus users can now manage users, apps, databases and servers for Windows encironments in the Amazon Cloud including user management of windows remote desktop users, Application management for .NET applications, backup and availability management of SQL Server databases, and monitoring, auto-recovery and auto-scaling of Windows servers.

“The number of cloud application deployments continue to ramp quickly but a limiting factor has been the ability to easily manage Windows-based applications in the cloud,” said George Reese, enStratus Chief Technology Officer. “enStratus addresses this issue as the only complete solution for multiple platforms and we are excited about the response from the market.”
