The future of software will be integrated. And if you’re not a believer, read this and you will likely be one soon.

Web content management system DotNetNuke has announced the availability of a new module from Brilliance Business Solutions that integrates the platform with e-commerce shopping cart AspDotNetStorefront.

The new module, called InnestoNuke, enables users to pass between a DotNetNuke website and an AspDotNotStorefront shopping cart under a single login. The module provides access to features including tiered customer pricing, mobile commerce support, multi-channel integration, a product feed engine, SEO-friendly architecture and, to top it all off, provides PCI compliance. The module sells within the DotNetNuke store for US $545.

"InnestoNuke opens the door to a wide range of new capabilities for companies that need commercial grade e-commerce integrated with extensible Web content management," explains Lori McDonald, president of Brilliance Business Solutions. "Organizations will have the assurance that as the platform evolves to support the latest in mobile, social, document management and content trends, their online storefront will keep pace."

AspDotNetStorefront, provider of the world’s leading .NET shopping cart, has released the latest version of its software. MultiStore 9.2 focuses on security and ease-of-use, says the company, and introduces the new feature MultiPay.

“This is our MultiPay concept,” says AspDotNetStorefront CEO Dana Greaves. “Give the shopper the ability to use whatever method of payment makes him feel the most comfortable and safe. Beyond the 33 dependable integrated gateways, we now have embedded the biggest names in off-site checkout: PayPal Express Checkout, Google Checkout and Checkout by Amazon.”

The newest release also makes a play for the international market via global payment methods that open the door to a combined 100 different local (international) debit cards. As Greaves notes, “With all those options, every merchant using our store can decide to no longer capture credit card data and transmit it for processing, but instead to let one of these services, embedded into our cart, take on the heavy lifting of PCI compliance.”

Thousands of users have switched to MultiStore since March 2011, when it was re-launched under the banner “MultiStore – now available one store at a time”. Over 85 percent of users start off with just one store, and many may never expand to more stores.

Visit AspDotNetStorefront.com for more information about MultiStore 9.2.

New software is now available to e-commerce merchants using the Magento Commerce and AspDotNetStorefront platforms.

After successfully completing a beta stage, Aten Software has released a product data feed submission that automatically submits product data to shopping search engines on a daily basis. The end result seeks to drive traffic and increase sales on a retailer’s website.

The software reads product data from merchants’ catalogs by using a product data export script that is copied to the store’s server. Then the script generates raw data that the system uses to create more than twenty different feed formats.

By submitting the feeds, online retailers are able to obtain free clicks from shopping engines that don’t charge for listings such as Google Product Search, TheFind, Bing Shopping and GoShopping. Cost-per-click (CPC) advertising can be done in other shopping channels such as NexTag, PriceGrabber/Yahoo Shopping, Shopping.com and Shopzilla.

There are also additional features from the feed service that may help with product listings, for example integrating with third-party analytic tools like Google Analytics.

The charge for the feed service is $21 per month for the first feed with an extra $12 per month fee for additional feeds. A feed is defined as one store and shopping engine combination, which includes unlimited products and submissions.

In the seemingly never ending quest to increase website conversions, Internet professionals routinely explore ways to build trust with their users – a rather rewarding technique particularly over time.

buySAFE and AspDotNetStorefront today announced a partnership to integrate the buySAFE Guaranteed seal into the ML8 and Multistore platforms, providing AspDotNetStorefront customers with simple (one-click) implementation and discounted pricing. The offering from buySAFE and AspDotNetStorefront will be available in Q2 2011 and can be activated from within AspDotNetStorefront’s Admin Console at that time.

Whether through the introduction of higher quality content, a greater presence in social networking channels, a well thought out and compelling site design or simply better product development, merchants (internet retailers) are often at the forefront of adoption when it comes to integrating the most effective solutions to increase conversion. Following the lead of e-commerce professionals often yields good results when it comes to conversion which is why this announcement caught our attention. Expect more e-commerce platforms and shopping carts to begin integrating with third-party services to help their merchants increase conversion.

“The AspDotNetStorefront platform absolutely offers the most features for the money and we incorporate new technology and innovative solutions like buySAFE to help our merchants grow,” said Dana Greaves, CEO of Vortx Inc, makers of AspDotNetStorefront. “Adding buySAFE’s auto-activation functionality into our platform leverages the latest available technology to enable merchants to add buySAFE with 1-click and immediately improve their cart conversion rates.”
